Hiking in Dobbiaco: The Dolomites & the Dobbiaco Lake

Peak happiness & natural treasures

Wonderful hikes, spectacular mountain summits, pleasant tours on your bike – whoever comes to Dobbiaco for mountain biking & hiking can consider themselves lucky: Surrounded by a unique mountain world, there are many natural spectacles to be discovered here in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites, such as the Lago di Dobbiaco with its dazzling colours, the impressive Tre Cime di Lavaredo and much more ...

Lago di Dobbiaco

The mountain lake in the Val di Landro at 1,259 m above sea level is idyllic and offers nature lovers a small, fine paradise to relax. A hike around the Dobbiaco Lake, on a beautifully designed nature path, is highly recommended – as well as a little pedal-boat trip on the beautiful turquoise water. However, you should not swim in the lake, the water is very cold even in summer. As an alternative, we recommend the great natural swimming pond in Dobbiaco, which is located in the sports zone.
